The Hopeless Romantic
Posted by Ricardo JusticiaFeb 18
Well, another Valentine’s Day has come and gone. And all the romantics in the world have hopefully had their fill. Here at VidaMendoza we have been witness to all types of romantics. The true romantic (aka the Palmview Pachuco), the homeless romantic (aka Joshi), the shy romantic (aka Chepe), and many others. This year we have been treated to the revelation of the self-described “hopeless” romantic. And I use the word revelation in the sense that we had not previously had the privilege of seeing the hopeless one in action. But others had.
It may come as a surprise, but according to sources, the hopeless romantic did indeed live up to expectations this year. For the most part anyway. A nice dinner, roses, chocolates… ah, the joy of romance.
There has been one glaring question though. In the day and time in which live, the following question must be asked. Was Hopeless bailed-out? An awful rumor has it that his “daddy” had to provide the funds for this year’s extravaganza! As shocking as this may seem, the damage to the legacy of the “hopeless” romantic would be immeasurable. Was there a back room deal worked out? Did he personally request a bail-out? Oh, the humanity! And shame. Let us only hope that this rumor is not proven to be true…

Say it ain’t so Charlie, Say it ain’t so!! There hasn’t been a scandal like this since another romantic borrowed chairs and a table from church for a dining room set!!

I suggest an investigation be conducted and the Identity of the “hopeless romantic” be revealed. I have never heard of something more egregious than requesting a bailout for Valentine’s Day. Scum like that do not deserve to be protected behind the veil id anonymity.

Close to the Situation, I would just like to point out that the “hopeless romantic” has already revealed his identity… here: http://www.vidamendoza.com/?p=180 First sentence of the first paragraph… And i do agree that it is indeed an egregious offense to be requesting a “bail-out” for Valentine’s Day… It’s not as if he didn’t know Valentine’s Day was coming, right?
